Event Description
This conference is intended for multidisciplinary members who work with obese patients; these include bariatricians, psychologists, registered nurses, registered dietitians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and program managers. The material discussed during the 1.5 day course will be geared toward quality and safety improvements in the care of the obese patient population. We will have both national and local presenters speak about these vital topics that affect patient outcomes. There will also be time allotted for participants to have their questions answered during the panel discussions.
This conference is intended for multidisciplinary members of the bariatric surgery and weight management team, including bariatric surgeons, bariatricians, coordinators, dieticians, endocrinologists, health coaches, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, program managers, and psychologists. The material will also be valuable for primary care providers, insurance medical directors, insurance case managers, and hospital administrators.
